How to search: No distinction is made between upper and lower case letters. You may enter one or several words, separated by a space. If you enter several words, you only get titles which contain all the requested words. If you put a sequence of words (each word separated by a space) in quotation marks (" ") you only get titles which contain this exact sequence of words. You may fill in several entries at the same time; as a result you will only receive titles that contain all the words you filled in. |

Author/Editor: You may enter name and first name. Your search will be most efficient if you place the sequence name, first name, separated by a space, in quotation marks. |

Title/Subtitle: You may use one or several words (separated by a space). If you fill in several words, you only get those titles that contain all the requested words in their title/subtitle. If you fill in a sequence of words in quotation marks, you only get titles that contain this exact sequence of words. |

Keyword(s): This search spans the sections "Author/Editor", "Title/subtitle", "Book synopsis" and "Contents". This search tool is particularly helpful for an overview of titles related to a specific term. Please try to be as specific as possible. A word like "Europe" will yield a lot of matches and the result may not be very conclusive. You have the possibility to search for word sequences by putting the required sequence in quotation marks, e.g. "European politics". You will only get titles containing this sequence of words. |

Language, disciplines, books published, availability: These fields provide you with the possibility to restrict your search. |

|
ISBN-search: The quickest way to find a title is by ISBN. Please type the book number - with or without hyphens - in the entry "search by ISBN". |

NEW BOOKS |

How to search:With this search you can get an overview of new books published in the last two years, grouped by month. Choose the requested month in the field "Published in".
You can restrict your search by selecting a specific discipline or language.

DISCIPLINES |
|
|
How to search: The search "Disciplines" shows you all disciplines in which we have published books and listed them in our data base. If you click on the symbol " " you receive all sub-disciplines. A click on the discipline/sub-discipline shows you all books classified in that particular discipline/sub-discipline. You have a more focused search if you narrow it by "Language" or "Books published since".
The field "Sort by" offers you the possibility to sort your search results in ascending or descending order by year of publication, author or title.

How to search: You can search for textbooks by discipline (please refer to "Disciplines" for further information). With the textbook option only textbooks will be displayed. |
